Workout Club Cleaning, Improvements, and Temporary Changes During COVID-19

Hey Workout Club Members,

Yes! We are open!
And we plan to stay open as long as the state allows it!

I am reaching out to you tonight to let you know that we are working diligently to mitigate the risk to your health. I have been in contact with our local representation, community establishments, health professionals, and various advisors to discuss and brainstorm all we can do to continue operating under these very strange and chaotic circumstances. It is with the utmost confidence that I assure you we are doing everything in our capacity to offer you a safe, healthy facility for you to enjoy.

Our team is operating vigilantly to ensure our club exceeds not only your expectations, but the standards set by the CDC and our Board of Health. 

  1. We utilize all products as sanctioned by the EPA and suggested by the CDC to combat 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.

  2. We have added additional opportunities to utilize these products throughout the day ā€“ like in between classes ā€“ and upped the frequency of when we sanitize certain areas of the gym.

  3.  We are implementing innovative UV-C light technology as used in hospitals and hotels as an extra precautionary measure of sanitization. 

  4. We are encouraging our employees to stay healthy, wash their hands, and remind all members to clean their equipment after use.  

  5. We have removed the card box to eliminate the opportunity for germs to linger and pass. Please be sure to check in with our awesome staff.

Some of the additional precautions we have implemented as of today will require your help and understanding, as well! For example:

  1. We have required instructors to cut classes to 50 minutes to allow for a studio floor cleaning and equipment sanitization in between classes. 

  2. Trainers will also limit use of shared equipment between clients and refrain from hands-on assists or adjustments, but they WILL encourage you all to high five and fist pump in the air!

  3. We have eliminated the floor fans as to prevent the spread of airborne contagions, and have encouraged instructors to keep the back door propped for air flow. Please do dress in layers!

  4. We hope you understand that we are encouraging client who are over 75 with health complications or a history of chronic disease to protect their health and consider staying home until the risk to their wellness has dissipated. As such, we will also ask members with flu-like symptoms (a fever, a cough, a sore throat,) to please stay home and self-quarantine the recommended time per the CDC before returning to the gym. 

  5. As a result of the uncertainty of the impact of this virus, we will postpone the new studio schedule indefinitely. However, there may be a few pop-up surprises for you all over the next few weeks!

  6. The implementation of Mind Body software will be prioritized as to offer easy transactions and improved club-client communication. 

During this stressful time of uncertainty,
it is now more than ever that we need our community.
