It’s really about YOU…

Hey WC! How’s everyone hanging in?

We’ve been busy adjusting to our current normal and so appreciate your patience throughout this time. As you’ve seen, we’ve been working hard to add virtual classes while your memberships are on hold and we appreciate your sense of humor as we navigate the challenges of the online world!

The best news is that we also are lining up additional opportunities for you to maintain your fitness on a daily basis during this time of our club’s closure if you can’t make it to a virtual class. We have some ideas in the works that are quickly coming to fruition…

  1. Our new Fitness Director, Kate, has been compiling mini workouts and challenges you can manage from the comfort of your home. Look for free Facebook Live videos online, as well as some mini workouts in our FB and Instagram feed starting this weekend.

  2. For tomorrow, we have pulled together our favorite 5k training plans for those of you interested in maintaining, training, or even just starting! The best news is that when we all return to the Workout Club, we will begin offering group walk/runs from the Club so that we can re-connect with the community we miss so much over a jog around the neighborhood! Check in our social media stories for daily running tips and motivational ideas!

  3. We will also be posting nutrition tips, guidelines, and recipes throughout the week in order to spice up your routine and keep your mood positive! Now is the best time to plan for healthy eating.  No one can out train a bad diet ;)

  4. Most importantly, we want to hear from you – what do you need, want, hope to see from us during this chaotic time. Are you all safe, well-stocked, and feeling well? Does anyone need a grocery pick-up? Pet food? As a community, we are here to support you – and it is times like these we need to rely on each other and ask each other what we can do to help. Check on your neighbor. Call your friend. Order take out from a local restaurant. Write a Facebook review for a small business that may be facing hard times. Or FaceTime a friendly face for a quick smile and virtual hug. Post below if you need anything. Or privately email colleen@workoutclubgym.com with your needs – remember: we are here for YOU. There is so much we can be doing to fuel our bodies, minds, and souls right now. And we will be offering you our ideas on a daily basis, so expect to see a lot more of us on social media as it is our best platform right now in which to reach you.
