Let's open: on July 14th!

Workout Club Members!

It is time! Can you even believe it? Now that we are in Phase 3, our club has been given the green light to open its doors! We are so excited to welcome you back (from a distance!) so that you can see all the updates, renovations, and changes we have made to prepare for your return. 

I promised you a safe and responsible opening. My priority is and always will be your health and wellness. Therefore, remaining true to my pledge, we have decided to open our doors on Tuesday, July 14th.  This extra time allows our team to adequately adhere to and prepare for the state-mandated guidelines while exhausting all resources available to ensure your safety and distancing our opening date from the most recent July 4th holiday.

Over the last few weeks, we have renovated areas of the gym in order to accommodate many of the expectations the governor recently released. We have poured over the guidelines for our industry and have rewritten our protocols to exceed what is required of us. The following list is not an exhaustive list of policies and procedures, but instead a brief summary of some of the protocols we plan to implement and adhere to during Phase 3. 

  • The studio will not reopen at this time – all fitness classes will continue outdoors for the foreseeable future.

  • The virtual studio will remain on FB. 

  • The spacing restrictions for working out indoors are as follows:

    • All members must wear masks if they are 6 feet apart unless there is a physical barrier separating them. 

    • Members do not have to wear masks if they maintain 14 feet of distance (but they may still wear masks if they so choose.)

    • Our staff is working diligently and creatively to fashion 14 feet of space between our cardio equipment – this is a much larger project that will evolve with the demands of the club.

  • All staff & trainers will wear masks while working or coaching inside and all members will be expected to enter and exit with a mask. 

  • Members who would like to utilize the gym & cardio equipment will be required to make appointments via Glofox due to capacity restrictions at the facility. All appointments will be 90 minutes long with 30 minutes in between each appointment to allow for facility cleaning and sanitization.  

  • Upon entering the gym, members will be asked to answer a COVID-19 pre-screening with a staff member. We encourage a personal checkup to be self-administered prior to arriving. If you are presenting any signs of COVID-19 (fever, cough, runny nose, loss of smell or taste, exhaustion or any other sign of illness - even if just allergies,) please stay home or you will be asked to leave the facility out of an abundance of caution.

  • Members will be expected to use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the facility, assist with the cleaning of any used equipment or machines, deposit any used equipment into marked areas for an additional staff cleaning, and aid in the community effort of preserving a healthy and safe environment.  

  • Members will need to bring their own yoga mats, towels, and water bottles as our mat and towel service has been suspended, and the water fountain will be closed. 

  • Fans are NOT permitted, but the doors to the facility will remain open as able to encourage air flow. 

  • While bathrooms will be open, lockers and showers are not currently available to gym members.

  • Please be respectful to all the staff and trainers as we navigate this “new normal.” We are all figuring out this global pandemic one hour at a time, but we are very excited to see you behind those masks soon!

  • Our website will publish a page devoted to our ongoing and updated COVID-19 policies, protocols, and expectations so that you can frequently check in to see what your club is doing to keep you safe.  

Regarding memberships, we request some patience as we navigate our new set up, evolving regulations, and an entirely different world of fitness. We also understand that not everyone will be ready to come back next week. Therefore, no one’s membership will unfreeze UNTIL you walk through the doors of the gym for your appointment or request it be activated. Once a member attends a gym/cardio appointment, we will apply the days left on your membership since closing our doors on March 16th.  Please register as a Workout Club member via the Glofox app or visit our website to register with Glofox to help facilitate migration of your membership once you are ready to return!
